ZECHARIAH 4:14, C. H. Cayce “Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.”
We have thought the two anointed ones in this text refers to the same as the two witnesses in Rev. 11:3. Read the entire chapter and compare with Zech. 4. You will see that the two witnesses are going to be killed, and their dead bodies shall lie in the street for three days and a half. We think these two are the church and the ministry. They have suffered persecutions and death for the truth’s sake, and we understand they are to again pass through sore persecutions for the sake of truth. This persecution will last for three and one-half years. They will be put to death as in days gone by for the faith. C. H. Cayce, The Primitive Baptist, Feb. 23, 1909.
