Cayce We do not think Paul’s expression, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit,” has reference to obedience, or that the Lord’s people are not condemned because they walk after the Spirit. The apostle continues the expression, and tells why there is no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus, “For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.” This is why they are not condemned.
