No man on earth knows, or can tell, how much the saints will know in heaven. We “now see through a glass darkly, but then face to face.” We now only “know in part.” “It doth not yet appear what we shall be.” We are sure that they will know more in heaven than they do here, but we cannot say how much more. It appears that the disciples knew Moses and Elias when they were with the Saviour on the mount of transfiguration. They may know them as Moses and Elias in heaven, but no natural ties of affections will exist.
