God’s foreknowledge or His wisdom is one of His attributes. It is a part of His very being. But His predestination is His act; it is the act of His mind. This is the difference— at least, a great difference. To make them one and the same thing is to destroy the teaching of the Bible. “For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son.” Foreknowledge and predestination are not the same here; for predestination comes after foreknowledge.
