EPHESIANS 2:10, C. H. Cayce, “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath ordained that we should walk in them.” This teaches us that the children of God are the workmanship of God— not the workmanship of God and company, but of God. It shows that a creative power is necessary to put one in Christ— “created in Christ.” Putting one in Christ, then, is a creative work, requires creative power. They are “created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works.” In order that one walk in, or perform, the good works of the gospel, he must first be created in Christ unto good works. This being true, no one performs the good works in order to be in Christ, but he must be in Christ in order to perform the good works. And those who have thus been created in Christ should walk in the good works which God has commanded. The Lord has ordained, or prepared, the good works, and those who are in Christ, the Lord’s children, should perform them. The Primitive Baptist, April 26, 1910
